DUNKIRK MOVIE REVIEW
As all the 20 of July, I went to see the film
"Dunkirk", which talked a lot. To be honest, I watched the filming of
this movie in social networks and watched a live-video from the movie premier
in London. In all the interviews and communities this film are all very
beautiful and colorfully described, praised him for a long time before the
release in theaters. All, of course, was waiting for the movie debut of the
inimitable Harry Styles, (and I among them; but there were other actors, which
I was expecting).
After seeing this film twice, I was convinced that, to
quote a line from the Internet: I was convinced that "Christopher Nolan
and "Dunkirk" is the best thing in my life."
The plot was quite obvious: 400 thousand British
soldiers stuck in the environment in the French city of Dunkirk and if they
don't make it out of there to his Home, (which, by the way, not so far), they
will be killed. And the whole movie the viewer watches the evacuation of the
soldiers, which, as we already know from historical reports, was successful.
The storyline takes place quite interesting and, for
me personally, unusually. The story of the evacuation is told as three small
stories, all of this is because Nolan and his characters tell the story in
three places: the Mol, Sea and Air. In each of these three areas, we are
seeing different stories and different characters, each of which takes its way,
risking his life, shows courage, and tries to escape.
At the end of the movie all three of these areas are
showing that the war does not divide people, it unites them. I can say that
this is a very interesting approach to the story of this interesting and
important history.
This film would not be so popular if it wasn't such a
large number of talented actors. Listen to this: Fionn Whitehead, Aneurin
Barnard, Jack Lowden, Kenneth Branagh, Tom Hardy, Harry Styles and this is only
the beginning of the list. Christopher Nolan was not wrong when he decided to
take on the main role of novice and lesser-known actors; they all met him and my
expectations. They don't act like newcomers in a big movie as a beginners first
removed from such a renowned Director like Nolan. They perfectly succeeded to
show and tell the stories of their characters, to convey all their feelings and
emotions overwhelming them, to show their attitude to the war, the evacuation
and to each other.

Fionn Whitehead as Tommy
I personally loved the game, of young British actor
Fionn Whitehead. Given that this is his first big job in cinema, Nolan took a
big risk, claiming the young Briton to the role. But he did, Fionn played the
role of Tommy, which by the way is main in the movie. I'm sure that Fionn was
his best on the set below as well to play his character.

Jack Lowden as Collins
In addition to Fionn, I can say good, very good game
of Scottish actor Jack Lowden. He's no stranger to the big screen, but this is
his first work with such a famous director. Lowden has the role of a pilot
whose name is Collins, (who, by the way, wear is incredibly beautiful blue
uniform). Just the film the two main of the pilot and the second plays by Tom
Hardy, but only Jack's character get the chance to visit not only the
"Air" area, but also in the "Sea" area. Collins is very
brave and courageous pilot, (there's a particularly tense scene with him). If I
talk all about this character, it will be a lot of spoilers. I can say one
thing, in my opinion this film is one of the best works Lowden.

Harry Styles as Alex
I know this review is for the "Dunkirk" was
not correct (I think), if I haven't talked about the Harry Styles movie debut.
Harry surprised everyone when only reported on the
filming of "Dunkirk". But the most surprise his fans and the audience
felt when he saw Harry in the film. All the talk about the fact that he is very
talented and a good actor though. This debut was great and memorable. To be
honest, I didn't expect that Harry is so talented. His character, whose name is
Alex, really suits him and, most likely, so Harry it is so well played.

Aneurin Barnard as Gibson
Aneurin Barnard gave us a bunch of conversations with
Tommy over the entire film. It's a joke, roses. You will be surprised, but the
entire movie Aneurin's character whose name is Gibson, said only one sentence,
and then in French and quiet. Yes, yes, that's it. But we cannot think that
this role was easy. Again, if I start to go into details of the Gibson's
history, there will be spoilers. I liked this character, his courage,
willingness to help anyone in trouble and to protect his friends. It is not
important?
The movie final was so touching and nice that I almost
cried in the cinema. Knowing that this evacuation was standing a lot, stood
many lives, you realize that this event is already part of the victory, which
evacuated soldiers are also heroes and winning. Even those soldiers who are
unable to return Home, also heroes and winners. Christopher Nolan beautifully
told this important page of World War II, this important page in the history of
England and its struggle against the German invaders, this important page of
its victory in this war.
I really liked the movie (probably why I watched it
three times and each time experienced no less than the previous). I think you
must watch it someday. I'm a sucker for historical films and TV shows, and
"Dunkirk" is firmly established in the list of my favorite movies,
all-life favorite movies. Previously I'd never seen anything so large and
interesting that captures from the first minute. Indeed it is a great
breakthrough and a great success.
