RIVERDALE: TV SHOW REVIEW

I recently finished watching a TV show called Riverdale. I can say that this is my new love. Somehow this year I found a new favorite shows that I really like and the sequel which I look forward to. Riverdale was one of those shows.

Equal to 13 Reasons Why  this show was my best and favorite show in 2017. All talked a lot about it and I decided to watch this show, and have not regretted.

The plot tells the story of teenagers who live in the small town Riverdale and are trying to investigate a crime involving the murder of their high school friend - Jason Blossom. His death was a mystery for all, even for his family, so the characters of the show come together to finally understand what is happening in their city and who would want to kill a young boy. With the growth of the plot, it turns out that many of the characters relate to each other, and some even linked to the murder of Jason.

It is interesting to trace the relationship of the characters, their love stories, their guesses and answers related to murder of Jason. The show was a dynamic and intriguing, captures attention from the first episode. I'm sure that many people (not only teenagers) will enjoy this TV drama with its interesting and somewhat mysterious story.

When I wrote a review about 13 Reasons Why, I also talked about my favorite characters of the show. In this review, I decided to do the same, because in Riverdale a lot of interesting characters that literally fall in love with the viewer.

KJ Apa as Archie

One of these characters is a high school student Archie (played by KJ Apa). He is one of the main characters of this show and one of those which from episode to episode, we learn a lot of information. He's a nice guy, who, incidentally, writes songs and sings them. He was friends with Jason since they both played in the school basketball team.

With Archie, the show also involves a lot of romantic lines, but only one gets the opportunity to be realized.

Cole Sprouse as Jughead

I think I watched this show because of Jughead, because his role in the show takes a famous actor Cole Sprouse. This character at first seemed to me a little strange, aloof from the world, (a sociopath, in general), the closed person and very suspicious, because he wrote about the murder of Jason almost the whole story and knew every detail.

But I soon fell in love with this character because he is quite an interesting personality, though not very sociable. He is Archie's BFF, so they often help each other. In the show he also has a love line.

Camila Mendes as Veronica

If we talk about female characters, I can say Veronica Lodge, (played by Camila Mendes). I'm personally crazy about her style, it's incredibly I like. The character is quite versatile, Veronica grew up in a rich family and has always been in abundance. She lives in Riverdale in a large and beautiful house with her mother. Veronica quickly finds friends in a new town (they recently moved to Riverdale), among these friends and Archie, and Jughead and Betty, (played by Lily Reinhart). She tries to help her friends, and especially her BFF Betty.

Madelaine Petsch as Cheryl

The other female character is Cheryl Blossom, (played by Madelaine Petsch) can be called both good and evil at the same time. But, of course, is one of the best characters in this TV drama. Sometimes she behaves arrogantly, because they are from a rich family and blah blah blah, but she can be kind, compassionate. She is very much love her brother Jason, and she was incredibly bad when he died (or rather, when he was killed).

When I watched the show, it seemed to me that Cheryl doesn't really like their parents (I would also these parents didn't love). Cheryl is friends with all the characters I mentioned, (with the possible exception of Jughead). She also tries to find out who is behind the murder of his brother.

Madelaine Petsch

Also, the actress who played the role of Cheryl, her name is Madelaine, incredibly nice, cheerful and kind person in real life. She is very friendly and cheerful. Therefore, it is necessary to give credit for the fact that she was able to bring in the TV show this character.

Concluding this review, let me just say that very pleased with this show and look forward to the second season. You can wasting your summer time on this show, he is really very good. I advise you to watch it not just teens, but everybody.

xoxo, Katya
